How it works

Send us your details Fill out the form below. Staff will create your replacement water petition and email it to you.
Return the signed petition Bring or mail the original signed and notarized petition to our office with the fees. Notaries are available at our office if you need one.
Board review Once everything is in, the petition goes to our board for approval.
We let you know Staff will tell you whether the petition was approved or denied.
Get your exchange permit Before using any water, get an exchange (diversion permit) from the Division of Water Rights.
