Description
Learn how to give your garden a fresh start by planting, dividing, and transplanting! This class begins with a short indoor presentation on planting principles for all types of plants, followed by hands-on demonstrations in the garden. You’ll see techniques for dividing and transplanting perennials, grasses, and shrubs, with guidance for handling trees and larger plants. Attendees will have the opportunity to take home plant divisions, and you’re encouraged to bring divisions or plants from your own garden to exchange with others. Join us for a fun, interactive session and leave inspired with new skills—and possibly new plants—for your yard! Taught by David Rice, District Staff.
