In northern Utah, there is growth and increased demands for water. Conservation programs now incentivize the removal of lawn to reduce water demands in landscapes. With these programs it is important to understand why plant material still matters in a landscape in our climate. Lawn may not be needed, but plant material is. Come and learn about why plants matter in our region and how to select plants that use less water and provide other great benefits for your yard and community. This class will be taught by Zac Roberts, conservation program coordinator for the District
